Lewis is a partner and Business Leader for Mercer’s Career business in Singapore. Voted a Top 101 Global Employee Engagement and Future of Work Influencer, he is a regular contributor to publications such as the Harvard Business Review and Talent Quarterly and a speaker in the areas of people science, HR data, employee engagement and leadership. In his commercial work, Lewis leads a team of social scientists, engineers and consultants to help clients and customers implement data-driven reward, talent and employee experience programmes to improve organisational performance. Lewis has supported the development of several organisational and HR capabilities initiatives, including national projects for skills sponsored by the Singapore government. He has extensive expertise in making HR programmes relevant for C-level executives in global companies and helping senior leadership teams to unlock effectiveness. Lewis is a Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) as an occupational psychologist; he graduated from the University of Nottingham in the UK with a master’s degree in occupational psychology and a first-class bachelor’s degree (with honours) in psychology and cognitive neuroscience. Lewis is also qualified by the BPS to use both ability tests and personality questionnaires to assess talent.
